Aprox speaks seven languages on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Android and the watch apps. It uses the language of your device by default. If you prefer Aprox in another language than the rest of your device, you can change it for Aprox alone in the system settings.

Available languages

  • English
  • Deutsch (German)
  • Français (French)
  • Español (Spanish)
  • Italiano (Italian)
  • 简体中文 (Chinese, Simplified)
  • 繁體中文 (Chinese, Traditional)

Where to find it

Aprox has no language setting of its own. It follows the system:

  • iPhone and iPad: the Settings app › Aprox › Language.
  • Mac: System Settings › General › Language & Region › Applications.
  • Android 13 and later: Settings › Apps › Aprox › Language.

Change the language for Aprox only

iPhone and iPad

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Scroll down to Aprox and tap it.
  3. Tap Language and choose a language.
  4. Open Aprox again. It now uses the new language.

Android

  1. Open Settings › Apps › Aprox.
  2. Tap Language and choose a language.

Mac

  1. Open System Settings › General › Language & Region.
  2. Under Applications, add Aprox and choose its language.
  3. Quit and reopen Aprox.

Proxmox terms

The German translation follows the terms of the Proxmox web UI. Words such as Node, Cluster, Snapshot, Backup, Storage, Pool, Template and Task stay in English, so what you read in Aprox matches what you see in Proxmox.

Good to know

  • Texts that come from Proxmox itself stay in English: task logs, and the raw server messages under Details from the server in an error.
  • If you find a translation mistake, let us know. See Contact support.
