Getting started
Install Aprox, try the demo and connect your first Proxmox VE cluster or Backup Server.
Welcome to Aprox
What Aprox is, which devices it runs on, how to install it, and where to go next in this wiki.
Requirements
What your device, your Proxmox servers, your network and your Proxmox account need before Aprox can connect.
Try the demo
Explore Aprox with a sample Proxmox VE cluster and a sample Backup Server that run inside the app, no server needed.
Add a Proxmox VE server
Connect Aprox to a Proxmox VE node or cluster with a password or an API token, and sign in for the first time.
Add a Proxmox Backup Server
Connect Aprox to a Proxmox Backup Server with a password or an API token and sign in.
Sign-in methods and two-factor
Password or API token, realms, saved passwords, two-factor codes, automatic sign-in and the sign-in states in the sidebar.
Create an API token
Create an API token in Proxmox VE or Proxmox Backup Server, give it the right permissions, and use it in Aprox.
Self-signed certificates
How Aprox handles the self-signed certificate Proxmox installs, how to check and trust its fingerprint, and what to do when it changes.
Local network access
Allow Aprox to reach Proxmox servers on your home or office network, and turn the permission back on if you declined it.
Import servers from Aprox 3
Bring back the servers and saved passwords from an earlier version of Aprox after updating to Aprox 4.
Edit, sign out or remove a server
Change a server's address or sign-in, sign out, or remove it from Aprox, and what the What's New sheet after an update shows.
